Healesville Open Section 7 team finished on top of their Eastern Region Tennis ladder and finished on top at the end of the Summer season.
They played the grand final against Canterbury, the team which finished second.
After a high-quality match featuring some nail-biting finishes, Healesville won: 8-3; 9-8; 8-2; 9-8; 9-7; 8-2, thus winning 6 sets 51 games to Canterbury’s 0 sets 30 Games.
Playing on the day were Ross Honeycombe, Lachlan Young, Chris Crawford Vince Gillett and Michael Young.
